Hi! Welcome to Barefoot Biddy. I’m Kaitlin, but almost everyone calls me Biddy. I am a college student studying Sustainable Business, with a huge interest in living a healthy and active lifestyle.

Over the past 4 years, I have grown to love running. So much so that I have decided to start marathon training. Not only will I track my workouts and healthy living habits, but also I will be running barefoot. Well, almost barefoot. I plan to run my first half marathon in Vibram FiveFingers Bikila Barefoot Sport Shoes.

I’ve always run in running sneakers. Replacing them almost every 4 months. When it came time to buy another pair, I searched for something different. That is when I found Vibram FiveFingers. “Their shoes allow your foot and body to move naturally. It is important when starting out that you begin small, building up your mileage. Here I will track my progress of breaking in barefoot while living a fun-filled, college life!
